Welcome and thanks for visiting! I am a doctoral student in Curriculum, Instruction and Teacher Education specializing in Science Education at Michigan State University.
My research interests include exploring the epistemic practices that youth engage in and how this leads towards meaningful identity work in science & engineering. I am also interested in understanding how pre-service teachers can learn from students epistemic work in their learning to teach of science. Previously, I was a biology teacher in Orlando, Florida and worked as an Education Research Assistant at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me or leave comments. I will try my best to update this website regularly.
